06FAQ

Your questions, answered

Just had an accident?

Before sending the vehicle to a garage or starting repairs, call the office to arrange the inspection.

06 61 61 61 92

What does the expert do for insurers and courts?

They examine the damaged vehicle or machine, establish the damage and its technical causes, cost the repair or value the vehicle, and write a report the insurer uses to set the settlement — or the court, for a court-ordered appraisal.

I've had an accident — what should I do before the appraisal?

Fill in the joint accident report or keep the police report, photograph the damage and the scene, notify your insurer within the deadline and don't start any repairs before the inspection.

Do you come to the garage or the farm?

Yes. Inspections take place at the Meknes office or on site — garage, depot, or farm for agricultural machinery — in Meknes and the surrounding region.

I disagree with the settlement offer. What can I do?

An independent, reasoned counter-appraisal can be carried out, compared with the first report and submitted to the insurer, or used in a dispute.

Which documents should I bring?

Vehicle registration, insurance certificate, accident report or police report, driving licence and any photos. For farm machinery: the machine's papers and purchase or service invoices.

How are fees set?

According to the nature and scope of the assignment, and stated clearly before any work. When the appraisal is commissioned by the insurer, terms are agreed with them.
